About Farmevo
Farmevo brings autonomous remote sensing to the fields and forests that feed the world. Our platform acts as the brain to power drones and robots to perform all kinds of surveying tasks - from mission planning to actionable insights, fully automated.
Backed by Gutter Capital and headquartered in New York and Karachi, Pakistan, Farmevo is scaling rapidly across North America at a pivotal moment for agricultural and forestry technology.
About the role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial and customer facing professional to help deploy and support the Farmevo SylvaSense technology across the PNW forestry vertical. You will plan new customer launches and build trust as they start to get real value with our products.
SylvaSense by Farmevo Technologies Inc. is a vertically integrated forestry intelligence platform that automates the transition from drone-acquired imagery to actionable silviculture insights. The system is designed to consolidate forestry tools and augment manual workflows without disruption.
Core Platform Capabilities include:
- Data Capture & Processing: The platform utilizes an autonomous, drone-to-report pipeline. It supports both edge desktop processing for immediate in-field mapping and a cloud-based engine for full AI inference and reporting.
- AI Silviculture Surveys: The system achieves ~90% species accuracy across 10-13 species. It supports 60-80 AI plots per day, significantly outpacing traditional ground sampling.
Unified Workflow: SylvaSense integrates with existing tools like Avenza, SNAP, and various GIS software.
What you'll do
- Fly drone missions across WA and OR forest sites to acquire data for training and refining SylvaSense AI models
- Plan and execute decision pilots and in-field demos for prospective customers (alongside the sales team)
- Conduct hands-on training and onboarding for confirmed clients
- Serve as the on-the-ground link between field realities and the technical team
Requirements
Must-haves
- 3+ years of boots-on-the-ground forestry experience in the Pacific Northwest
- Knowledge of silviculture guidelines and survey practices in the region
- Strong communicator with good people skills — comfortable with customers and technical teams alike
- Willing to engage with technical details and not shy away from complexity
- Passionate about technology and either has drone exposure or is eager to learn
- Comfortable with a full-time role that involves ~60% travel across 4-5 States
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience conducting ground / regeneration surveys in the PNW
- Prior drone or UAV experience
- FAA Part 107 remote pilot certification
