Build and Grow a Thriving Cardiology Service in Austin, Texas
Violet Crown Veterinary Specialists (VCVS) is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained veterinary cardiologist to help build and grow a thriving Cardiology service within Austin’s only privately owned specialty and emergency hospital.
This opportunity is designed for a cardiologist who wants more than simply inheriting a schedule. We are looking for a clinician who values high-quality medicine, collaboration, clinical autonomy, and the opportunity to help shape the future of a growing specialty hospital.
Supported by a 24/7 Emergency service, a strong specialty team, and an established referral network throughout Central Texas, this role offers significant opportunity to develop a robust cardiology caseload from day one while building a service that reflects how you practice medicine.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Most cardiology opportunities fall into one of two categories:
Walking into an established service with limited flexibility
Joining a large corporate system where major decisions are made far from the exam room
VCVS offers something different. We are proud to be Austin’s only privately owned specialty and emergency hospital. Our doctors have direct access to decision-makers and meaningful influence over how services are developed, supported, and grown.
As our Cardiologist, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Build and grow a high-impact Cardiology service
Influence workflow and service development
Develop referral relationships throughout Central Texas
Collaborate closely with Emergency, Surgery, and Oncology clinicians
Help guide future equipment and service investments
Expand interventional and advanced cardiology capabilities
Grow a service within one of the fastest-growing veterinary referral markets in Texas
Your voice matters here.
