- Public Fellow (non-residential)
Description
The PRRI Public Fellows program promotes and supports the interdisciplinary public scholarship of a cohort of emerging scholar-leaders working across the following major areas of PRRI’s work: Pluralism and Democracy, Immigration and American Society, and LGBTQ Rights and Gender Politics.
Ideal candidates are mid-career scholars (3 to 12 years out from earning a terminal degree) who have an aptitude and track record of socially engaged or public scholarship. Humanities scholars are strongly encouraged to apply.
This non-residential fellowship offers virtual monthly meetings and an annual expenses-paid convening in Washington, D.C., as well as an annual stipend, access to course release funds, and microgrants of up to $10,000 to foster collaborative new scholarship and professional relationships among the cohort.
