Requirements
- Proficient in technical writing for construction services
- Coordinate and support the end-to-end proposal development process, from intake to final submission
- Review RFP to identify requirements, compliance needs, and deadlines
- Create timeline, production plan, and ensure schedule is maintained
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape win themes, messaging, and positioning across written and visual proposal materials
- Draft, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand standards
- Ensure compliance with government procurement standards and forms
- Customize resumes, project profiles, and boilerplate content to exceed requirements
- Maintain and update a proposal content library, including resumes, project database, profile sheets, and standard narratives
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism
- Track proposal progress and maintain organized records of submissions and outcomes
- Support the development of presentations, interview materials, and related collateral as needed
Qualifications
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong eye for accuracy, clarity, and tone.
- Experience compiling complex and highly technical submissions for government or commercial proposals, bids, RFP, RFQs.
- Strong collaboration skills and confidence engaging with leaders across departments.
- Experience working with a construction company
- Experience in writing proposals for construction, construction management, environmental disaster, or disaster management industry.
- Proficient using SharePoint, Adobe, MS Office, Canva and other related systems
- Job Order Contracting technical writing knowledge is a plus and a differentiator!
