Help shape the future of the high-net-worth insurance industry.
The Private Risk Management Association (PRMA) is seeking a Private Client Content Director to help shape the research, insights, and thought leadership that strengthen PRMA's industry voice. Working closely with the Executive Director, this individual will bring deep high-net-worth personal insurance expertise to guide PRMA's educational content, industry research, publications, and Summit programming. In partnership with PRMA's Education, Membership Engagement, and Marketing teams, this role helps ensure our content remains timely, relevant, and reflective of the evolving needs of the private client marketplace.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Brings deep HNW personal lines knowledge to serve as a subject matter expert across PRMA initiatives.
- Research and helps develop content for whitepapers and industry publications, in partnership with the PR firm, highlighting HNW trends, risk issues, and solutions, including PRMA’s annual Industry Insight Survey with HNW clients.
- Help prepare talking points and supporting materials for the Executive Director ahead of media interviews, industry panels, and external engagements.
- Support engagement within PRMA's Thrive community by providing subject matter expertise and ensuring member questions are addressed directly or connected with the appropriate experts.
- Partner with the Education Director to keep PRMA's educational content current and relevant by identifying emerging industry trends, gaps in member learning needs, and providing subject matter expertise to inform the continued evolution of the Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA) designation.
- Contribute ideas and expertise for PRMA’s Risk Ready podcast.
- Inform Summit program design by providing content direction and industry insights, collaborating closely with the Summit Planning and Education Committees.
- Prepares thought-leadership materials that elevate PRMA’s industry voice.
Ideal Candidate and Qualifications:
- A professional from the high-net-worth personal lines insurance market, ideally with broker experience, who can serve as a subject matter expert across PRMA initiatives.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the high-net-worth insurance industry with demonstrated expertise in risk issues, market trends, and client needs.
Exceptionally detail-oriented with strong writing skills. - Proven ability to translate complex insurance topics into clear, compelling, and professional content for diverse audiences.
- Comfortable managing online communities, answering technical questions, and engaging members in a professional and helpful way.
Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hours: Full-time. PRMA is open to considering a part-time arrangement for an exceptional candidate whose experience and expertise align with the needs of the role.
- Location: Remote (U.S.) with limited travel (up to three events annually), including PRMA's Annual Summit and select industry meetings.
- Compensation: Compensation commensurate with experience, expertise, qualifications, and whether the role is structured as full-time or part-time.
