Help shape the responsible use of Agentic AI in bank BSA/AML operations
Agentic AI and intelligent automation have the potential to materially change how banks investigate financial-crime alerts, document decisions, conduct quality reviews, prepare for examinations, and manage other highly regulated workflows.
For these technologies to succeed, however, they must reflect the operational realities, governance requirements, and professional judgment of the BSA/AML practitioners who will use and oversee them.
Silk River’s Financial Crime Practitioner Council is a selective, paid advisory forum for current BSA/AML program leaders working at U.S. banks.
Council members will exchange perspectives with experienced peers, gain practical exposure to emerging applications of Agentic AI in financial-crime operations, and help ensure that new technology is designed around the needs of bank BSA/AML teams.
This is a professional advisory opportunity—not a full-time position, sales role, or referral program. Members are compensated for their time and expertise.
Council members may have opportunities to:
- Exchange perspectives with other current bank BSA/AML leaders
- Explore practical applications of Agentic AI and automation in regulated financial-crime workflows
- Provide structured feedback on product demonstrations and investigative workflows
- Discuss alert investigation, resolution, escalation, and case documentation
- Contribute perspectives on quality assurance, audit readiness, governance, implementation, and internal controls
- Help define how AI-assisted workflows can support investigators while preserving professional judgment and appropriate oversight
- Participate in practitioner research, interviews, webinars, roundtables, and educational content
- Help technology providers better understand how banks evaluate and implement financial-crime solutions
- Contribute to discussions about what banks need to support and govern an AML technology pilot
Product feedback is one component of the Council. Its broader purpose is to create a substantive forum for practitioner insight, professional education, and better alignment between financial-crime technology and operational reality.

Compensation and participation
Approved Council activities are compensated at $125–$250 per hour, depending on the member’s current responsibilities, relevant experience, and the scope of the engagement.
Participation in each activity is voluntary and agreed upon in advance. The expected commitment is approximately 2–10 hours per month.
Confidentiality and professional boundaries
Council discussions focus on general professional experience, common industry workflows, and emerging technology practices.
Members are not asked to disclose confidential, proprietary, customer-specific, or institution-specific information.
Silk River compensates Council members for their time and professional expertise—not for influence, referrals, introductions, or access.
For experienced bank BSA/AML leaders, the Council offers an opportunity to contribute to the industry, engage with peers, and gain practical exposure to how Agentic AI may reshape financial-crime operations.
