Description

This position

• Reviews, awards, and adjusts federal and private loan applications.
• Resolves loan reconciliation and discrepancies from both internal and external sources.
• Responds to loan, mail, phone and in person requests for assistance.
• Updates, maintains, and creates procedures for our online policies & procedure manual.
• The position will also evaluate students’ eligibility for and award Winterlude intersession institutional financial aid and Federal TEACH Grants.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Associates Degree and 1+ year of Financial Aid experience preferred.
• Ability to interpret results of these reports to identify and resolve issues and detect trends.
• Extensive use of email, Microsoft Office products, various federal and lender/servicer websites.
• Employee must be eligible to obtain access to all Federal aid sites, which require employee, not be in default on any federal loans.
• Requires the use of PeopleSoft, running and adjusting data reports and queries from software such as Power BI or Tableau.
• This position requires thorough knowledge of federal financial aid regulations and policies.
