The role

An Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for shift coverage and therefore must possess strong trouble-shooting skills in all areas of maintenance in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems, using a windows based computer system. Ability to read blue prints and schematics is also required. Prior building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. A strong working knowledge of all major building systems, including life-safety systems, is required for this position. Good communication skills are necessary. Additionally, this position requires strong leadership skills, and a willingness to work different shifts as the demands of business dictates.

Both hotels are anchored on the ground floor by The 5th Street Diner + The Royale Room, a street side concept serving daily fare for locals, residents and guests alike. This mixed-use project will also feature a residential tower - Siena - and 10,000 square feet of retail space.

Qualifications

• Comfortable standing the majority of an 8 hours shift
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• Prior building maintenance experience is required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
• Previous supervisory experience a plus
