About the Role
Epitel is seeking an experienced EEG technologist to serve as EEG Technologist – Quality and Clinical Operations, supporting our breakthrough wearable, wireless REMI™ Remote Electroencephalogram Monitoring System.
This is not a traditional hospital-based technologist position. You will be the first dedicated EEG technologist inside Epitel, and you will help build our EEG operations function from the ground up. You'll begin by owning quality assurance for REMI end-of-service technologist impressions, then expand into defining the standards, workflows, and training that the function runs on as we bring more EEG technology work in-house.

What You'll Do
Clinical Quality Conduct quality assurance of REMI EEG reports, technologist impressions, and intermittent monitoring services. Identify errors, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement, and establish consistent quality standards for REMI technologist impressions.
Process Development Develop SOPs, quality-control checklists, escalation criteria, and turnaround-time standards. Build a repeatable approach to quality review and escalation that scales as volume grows.
Clinical Operations Provide technical and workflow support to strengthen clinical operations across REMI sites.
Education & Training Lead communication, education, and training for EEG technologist users of the REMI System — and, over time, help recruit and train additional technologists on the Epitel team.
Metrics Develop and execute clinical quality metrics for neuromonitoring services.
Technical Expertise Build deep working knowledge of REMI EEG data, including recognition of seizures, other abnormalities, normal brain patterns, and artifacts, in service of technical quality review.
Medical Affairs Liaison Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the REMI System, including technical support to physician users.
Scope of the Role
This position focuses on technical quality assurance — consistency, completeness, accuracy, and appropriate escalation of technologist impressions. It is distinct from, and does not include, physician clinical interpretation or final diagnosis, which remain the responsibility of the interpreting physician.
Requirements
What We're Looking For
Credentials R.EEG.T. certification required. C.L.T.M. preferred.
Experience Approximately 2–5+ years of EEG experience, with long-term or ambulatory EEG monitoring experience strongly preferred. Prior exposure to quality assurance, clinical operations, or education and training is a plus but not required.

Your First Few Months
Phase 1 — Quality Control. Review existing end-of-service technologist impressions, identify errors and inconsistencies, help establish quality standards, and develop a consistent approach to review and escalation.
Phase 2 — Build the Process. Develop SOPs and QC checklists, define escalation criteria and turnaround-time standards, and take greater ownership of the end-of-service process.
Phase 3 — Build the Function. As REMI volume grows, help transition more EEG technology work in-house, recruit and train additional technologists, and manage the EEG technology workflow.
