Austin Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic, member-focused Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. • 18-hole Championship golf course designed by World Golf Hall of Fame Member, Pete Dye
• 1600 sq. foot Golf Retail space

• Harvey Penick Performance Center
• Active Golf Membership with nearly 40,000 rounds of golf annually
• Robust golf tournament calendar including Men's Golf Association events, Women's Golf Association events, and Junior Golf Events.

Experience Required

• Level 2 or higher PGA education preferred
• High School diploma and/or GED required. College Education preferred.
• Two to five years' experience in a high-end private golf operation
• Ability to work weekends/holidays as required
• Exceptional Member service skills
• Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft & Golf Genius
• Teaching/Coaching experience preferred
• Playing ability

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member and guest service
• Set-up and facilitate events using Golf Genius Software
• Assist in merchandise operations including special ordering, restocking inventory, completing sales, and displaying of merchandise
• Required to perform duties as a marshal to promote timely pace of play
• Assist with player check-in using the POS/Tee Time System
• Opening and Closing of the Golf Shop
• Assist in tournament operations and weekly WGA/MGA events including planning, pre-tournament contracts, post- tournament billing, promotion, course set-up, preparation, scoring, prize distribution, and follow up
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image
• Assist with the administration of applicable staff via recordkeeping, work schedules, etc. in accordance with facility human resource policies
