Description

Represent the Trustee before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas (Austin and Waco Divisions) and other federal courts at confirmation hearings, motions to dismiss, and other required matters.
Prepare for and conduct §341 meetings of creditors.
Review petitions, plans, amendments, motions, proofs of claim, and other pleadings to evaluate compliance with Chapter 13 requirements.
Draft and file legal documents, including objections to confirmation, motions to dismiss, objections to claims, responses to pleadings, proposed orders, briefs, and withdrawals, exercising sound legal judgment.

Requirements

2–5 years of consumer bankruptcy experience.
Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
Admission to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Compliance with State Bar of Texas continuing legal education requirements.
Strong research, writing, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Strong math skills and solid financial instincts.
A credit and background check is required.
