Job Description
A Brief Overview
Directs operations of the team and oversees the product portfolio, conducting market analysis, and driving new product development. Collaborates cross-functionally, sets pricing and promotion strategies, measures performance, and ensures regulatory compliance to achieve business objectives and drive growth in the competitive pharmacy retail industry.
What you will do
- Establishes procedures for the development of the overall product strategy, including market analysis, customer research, and competitive intelligence.
- Prioritizes initiatives, defines product features, and establishes a roadmap that aligns with market demands and business objectives.
- Assesses customer needs, preferences, and pain points to guide product decision-making and ensure customer-centric product development.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define product vision, identify target markets, and set strategic goals for the product portfolio.
- Establishes product requirements as well as feature prioritization, working closely with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and market demands.
- Guides product performance, monitors market trends, and makes data-driven decisions regarding product enhancements, updates, or retirement to optimize the product portfolio.
- Promotes cross-functional communication and coordination, ensuring effective collaboration to achieve product goals.
- Identifies unique value propositions, defines product positioning, and ensures effective communication of product features and benefits to customers and the market.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to product managers and other team members by building and developing high-performing product teams, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration, and providing coaching and career development opportunities.
For this role you will need Minimum Requirements
- 7-10 years work experience
- Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
- Adept at business intelligence
- Adept at collaboration and teamwork
- Mastery of problem solving and decision making skills
- Mastery of growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$75,400.00 - $165,954.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
