Responsibilities
- Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping products
- Manage calibration of large multi sensor programmatic LiDAR and Imagery acquisition projects
- Process and Calibrate LIDAR data and aerial imagery
- Train entry level technicians and perform QAQC on projects
- Technical problem solving on advanced geospatial/remote sensing challenges
- Support team leads, project managers, and senior project managers by executing and managing calibration/aerial triangulation work, assigning staff tasks, updating on project status, and making sure project expectations are met
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience working with Riegl Sensors (Airborne and Mobile preferred)
- Experience working with Riegl and Applanix Processing Software
- Experience with Bayesmap StripAlign and Terrasolid (Scan, Match, Photo, Model)
- Excellent technical problem solving skills
- Sensor Calibration knowledge
- Large programmatic project experience
- 7-10+ years of experience with geospatial/remote sensing data and projects
- 7-10+ years progressive experience with spreadsheets or GIS tools
- 7-10+ years of experience with LIDAR data, extraction and product creation
- Aerial triangulation experience a plus
- Field experience collecting geospatial/remote sensing data a plus
- Field experience collecting conventional survey data a plus
- Office experience processing survey data a plus
- Excellent computer and technical skills, including Auto CAD and/or MicroStation and MS Office Suite preferred
- Proficient in technical math, including Geometry and Trigonometry
- Strong listening, writing and verbal communication skills
- Leadership and Management Skills
