- Sales Account Executive - Government/ EM SaaS
Description
Veoci is seeking driven and results-oriented Account Executives to join our growing team, focusing on expanding our presence in the Government Emergency Management vertical. This role requires a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of success in outbound sales, business development, and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience specifically in Emergency Management, Disaster Response, or Business Continuity (or a closely related field), or 5 years of experience delivering or selling technology solutions to Emergency Management or Government agencies.
As a Sales Account Executive at Veoci, you’ll own the full sales cycle, acting as a hunter-closer to generate, qualify, and close new business opportunities. Your consultative approach will help medium-to-large organizations understand Veoci’s value in solving their operational and emergency management challenges.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new business opportunities through various channels.
- Work with a Sales Development Representative to plan and execute sales prospecting campaigns.
- Reach out to cold contacts through targeted outreach campaigns.
- Follow up with warm prospects from tradeshows and webinars.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from qualification to negotiation and closing.
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers to conduct demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the value proposition for specific customer needs.
- Build strong relationships with prospects and customers, becoming a trusted advisor.
- Some travel may be required to attend industry trade shows, sales meetings or team meetings.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Forecast sales accurately and contribute to pipeline management.
- Utilize the Veoci-built CRM effectively to track progress and report on key performance metrics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or similar major.
- At least 3 years of experience specifically in Emergency Management, Disaster Response, or Business Continuity (or closely related government programs), or 5 years of experience providing or selling software solutions to Emergency Management or Government organizations
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Experience building pipeline through prospecting, cross-selling and referrals.
- Experience with our tools platform: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Vidyard, Calendly, MailTrack, and Act-On.
- Practitioner Experience in the assigned vertical.
- Social selling expertise (LinkedIn, Professional Organizations, etc.).
- Experience with Account-Based Selling or Marketing.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems.
- CEM or AEM Certified.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport and credibility with sales prospects.
- Deep understanding of consultative selling methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven work ethic and dependability.
Physical Requirements & Compensation
Veoci offers remote work flexibility. This role is 100% remote, but will require travel up to 30% of the time and has the option to work onsite from our headquarters in New Haven, CT.
The wage range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000k plus commission benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
