This position will lead end-to-end revenue operations, from billing and collections to reconciliation and compliance while fostering strong relationships across the industry. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented, solutions-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about streamlining complex financial systems to support mission-driven co-ops.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee manufacturer invoicing, promotional and supply rebate settlements, member co-op rebate and coupon redemption payments, and distributor deductions.
- Lead collections for overdue invoices across all manufacturers and partners, resolve payment disputes and discrepancies, coordinate with Purchasing Operations team to authorize collections billing and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor bankruptcy notifications and manage related collections activities. Maintain aging reports and ensure prompt follow-up on outstanding receivables.
- Collaborate with Purchasing, manufacturer, and distributor partners to ensure billing and rebate processes align with contractual agreements.
- Provide reporting and insights to Purchasing staff and leadership on billing trends and manufacturer and distributor payment performance.
- Manage NCG’s coupon redemption clearinghouse, overseeing relationships with third-party processors, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, overseeing manufacturer reimbursement processes, and maintaining alignment with operational guidelines and agreements.
- Onboard new manufacturer partners with the Category Management team to ensure understanding of NCG billing rules, procedures, and program compliance.
- Coordinate Centralized Payables onboarding for new distributors with Finance, Purchasing, and Business Technology, ensuring effective monitoring, compliance, timeline adherence, testing completion, and resolution of invoicing or system issues.
- Partner with the Business Technology team to enhance billing systems, automate workflows, improve data integrity, and implement process improvements while tracking key performance indicators to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for billing, payment, and collections operations in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Lead and manage the Revenue Operations team, including hiring, training, performance management, and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in financial or revenue operations, accounting or a related field required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with business operations, supply chain management, or business administration.
- Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in developing and managing teams in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing large data sets and developing end-user solutions using multiple data sources (e.g., retailer, manufacturer, distributor, etc.).
- Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and proficiency in Excel, financial systems, and reporting tools.
- Up to 10% of business travel is required, including overnights and weekends.

The salary for this position is $118,809.
Workstation Options
- Home Office (Contiguous U.S.): Eligible if within 100 miles of a major airport and has sufficient internet bandwidth and mobile phone service.
- St. Paul, MN Office: Workstations available at 2610 University Ave W, with free parking and access to the Green Line Light Rail (Westgate Station).
