Our established and rapidly growing private Rheumatology practice in California, is seeking a dedicated, California-licensed Rheumatologist (MD/DO) for a flexible, contracted position. Compensation: We utilize a competitive Per-Patient Fee Schedule based on CPT/E&M complexity. Our rates are structured to be highly competitive for this specialized contract role.

Malpractice Coverage (Key Benefit): The practice will cover the cost of professional medical malpractice insurance for services rendered on our behalf—a significant financial benefit rarely offered in a 1099 contracted position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert rheumatological care via synchronous video conferencing (telehealth) to patients residing in California.
- Conduct thorough virtual patient interviews and manage the full spectrum of rheumatic diseases.
- Collaborate closely with the clinical team to coordinate infusion therapy and local follow-up needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EHR system (all exams must be dated and signed within 12 hours of evaluation).Adhere to all California Telehealth regulations and HIPAA privacy laws
Candidate Qualifications:
- Medical License: Must possess a valid, active, and unencumbered California Medical License (non-negotiable).
- Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Rheumatology.
- Technical Requirements: Must maintain a secure, private, and HIPAA-compliant home office with reliable, high-speed internet.
