Investor Relations Associate - Austin, TX

Overview:

A growing Real Estate Private Equity firm is looking to add an Investor Relations Associate to their team in Austin, Texas. The Investor Relations Associate will support investor communications, reporting, and fund operations, working closely with firm leadership and external investors. The firm is entrepreneurial, technology‑forward, and scaling its real estate investment platform. This position offers meaningful exposure to private equity structures, investor dynamics, and senior decision‑makers.

The Investor Relations Associate will be responsible for:

• Support investor communications, including capital calls, distributions, and ongoing reporting
• Assist with the preparation and distribution of quarterly and annual investor reports
• Respond to investor inquiries and help maintain strong investor relationships
• Coordinate with accounting, asset management, and leadership teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow
• Maintain investor records, CRM systems, and reporting databases
• Help improve internal processes and adopt new technologies, including AI‑enabled tools

The Investor Relations Associate should have:

• 1 - 3 years of professional experience post‑undergraduate degree
• Accounting background or relevant coursework with a strong understanding of financial statements and capital flows
• Experience in fund accounting, investor reporting, client services, or capital markets
• Familiarity with private equity structures; real estate experience a plus (e.g., capital calls, distributions, waterfalls)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail‑oriented, intellectually curious, and comfortable in a client‑facing environment
